Story 01 · The Beginning
1A Verse to Light Your Day

Fawzooz woke up hopeful and eager, determined to begin his day with a new habit that would bring him spiritual contentment and self-confidence. He decided to start with something simple: waking ten minutes earlier every day and reading a verse of the Qur’an each morning. He would rise, make his ablutions, then sit by his window overlooking the village’s green fields, reading the verse with humility and reflecting on its meanings and how he could apply them to his day. This small habit, which took only a few minutes, had an unexpected effect on Fawzooz: he felt a clear improvement in his focus and his spiritual life.
As he repeated the habit day after day, he began to notice an improvement in his mental and spiritual state too. The verses gave him strength and hope, making him bolder and more ready to face the day’s challenges with steadiness and confidence. Over time, Fawzooz gained the confidence to add more constructive habits to his daily routine.
“Every morning brings a new chance to weave small habits that build bridges toward great dreams; from small seeds, mighty trees grow.”
Every morning he felt he had more time to get his tasks done and to think about his future. Through this experience he learned that even small beginnings can lead to big, meaningful changes in life. With his determination and persistence, Fawzooz became an example in his village, showing how small, consistent habits can chart a course toward a more fulfilled and happier life, following the wisdom of Islam in strengthening the self through measured, sustainable steps.
