Why connection, and why now?
We communicate more than any generation before us, and understand each other less. We send emojis instead of smiles, and write words without seeing their effect on the face of the one who reads them.
In this issue Fawzooz learns the art of connection step by step: a sincere smile, a warm handshake, patience before judging a stranger. Then he takes us home, where affection needs an understanding of differences and attention to needs.
This week, try looking into the eyes of the person you are talking to, and smiling before you speak.
