As security challenges grew and the need to protect intellectual property increased, Fawzooz recognised the value of adopting international standards to build client trust and stay competitive. He began introducing the principles of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 into the creative village’s operations.

Defining the scope of the information security management system (ISMS). Fawzooz identified the vital information that needed protecting, including client data, new designs and creative scripts.

Leadership and commitment. Fawzooz himself led this initiative, stressing the importance of ongoing support and of providing the resources needed to develop and implement security policies.

Planning. Fawzooz and his team identified potential threats to the creative assets and the weaknesses that could be exploited. They assessed risks systematically and put the necessary security measures in place.

Support and operation. Fawzooz allocated the necessary resources and trained his team to ensure operations ran in line with the information security objectives.

Performance evaluation. Fawzooz organised periodic reviews and continuous monitoring of the ISMS to confirm it was effective and adapting to new security challenges.

Improvement. Based on the periodic evaluations, Fawzooz made the adjustments needed to strengthen the ISMS and meet emerging threats.
