Why self-worth, and why now?
Never before have people been surrounded by so many comparisons. Perfect pictures, other people’s achievements at every moment, and numbers measuring everything we do. With every comparison, a small inner voice grows louder, saying: “You’re not enough.”
In this issue we hear that voice in Adrian, the talented chef; in Sami, facing a hurtful message; in Sandy, who blames herself for everything; and in Salim, who sees his work through a clouded lens. Then, in the second part, we see how the light returns: through an encouraging sister, a gratitude notebook, the present moment, and a wise elder.
This issue will not change what people think of you. But it may change the lens through which you see yourself.
