Mohamed Fawzi Elgendi

Chief AI Officer and Chief Information Security Officer Professor of Practice Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Nearly two decades of professional work bringing together artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital governance, held together throughout by one concern: protecting the relationship between people and the technology they depend on.

He leads strategic initiatives that strengthen secure digital infrastructure while pushing responsible AI forward. He holds a doctorate in human-centric AI governance and cognitive security, a post-doctoral fellowship and a professorship from Dunster Business School in Switzerland, and a BEng in electronics, computer and systems engineering, alongside ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications and specialised programmes in generative AI, leadership and product management.

He is the author of the Unified Cognitive Security Maturity Model (UCSMM) and the concept of the "cognitive shield", and of the InnovaForge innovation framework.
