Why anxiety, and why now?

1 min read2 of 14

Anxiety is no longer a guest that visits only in hard seasons; it lives in our pockets. A notification in the middle of the night, a breaking news alert, a message left unanswered. We live in a world faster than our hearts can keep up with, and we reach the end of the day exhausted without knowing why.

In this issue we meet anxiety in all its forms: a young man who isolates himself out of fear of the future, a café owner visited by tension with no clear cause, a traveller who has lost his way, and two students facing an exam that will decide their future. Then we return to childhood, when a small spider or a colourful shirt was enough to stir up a storm.

You will find no promise here that anxiety will vanish, only small tools that bring you back to the ground: a deep breath, a calm question, a friend to talk to. Read slowly, and try one of them today.
