This is the working manual of the cognitive security series. Sections 1 to 5 explain the problem, the frameworks behind the playbook and the measures we use. Section 6 walks through the eleven modules. Section 7 reports what happened when we ran Cognitive XOps for six months with a team of fifty people, and Section 8 sets out a 24-month roadmap for any organisation that wants to follow.
