Waei Cards

Your Guide on the AI Journey from Fawzooz

I am Waei. My journey with AI began with doubt, until I saw that its real power lies in amplifying people, not in its algorithms. These cards are your compass for building smart systems that serve people and respect their values.

  1. Waei Cards1

Your doubt is a good start.

Doubting AI is natural and healthy; let it push you to ask more and understand deeply before you judge.

  2. Waei Cards2

Leave the repetition to the machine.

Let AI take on repetitive and complex tasks, so you are free for creativity, empathy and strategic thinking.

  3. Waei Cards3

    Your humanity grows in value.

The better machines get at analysis, the more your emotional intelligence matters: communication, leadership and empathy.

  4. Waei Cards4

    Start with the simplest.

Try the simplest model first; turn to deep learning only for a complex problem with enough data and computing power.

  5. Waei Cards5

Know when you lead and when AI does.

Rate each task by the empathy and creativity it needs: some suit AI alone, some need a human, some need both.

  6. Waei Cards6

    The final word is yours.

In high-risk, sensitive or ethically complex decisions, build in a human review before anything is final.

  7. Waei Cards7

Measure your readiness before you run.

Assess your organisation's AI maturity across five pillars: strategy, organisation, data, processes, and people and their skills.

  8. Waei Cards8

Your project is a loop, not a line.

A data project doesn't end at launch; it keeps cycling through collecting, preparing, modelling, evaluating, running and improving.

  9. Waei Cards9

    Good data comes first.

Expect to spend most of your time cleaning and preparing data; poor data gives poor results, whatever the model.

  10. Waei Cards10

    Aim for useful, not perfect.

No model is perfect; choose the algorithm that fits your problem and data, and aim for a practical solution that works.

  11. Waei Cards11

Build a team with every role filled.

An AI team needs a business leader, a data engineer, a data scientist, a machine learning engineer and a business–tech translator.

  12. Waei Cards12

    Ethics first, before any code.

Deal with bias, privacy, transparency and accountability from day one, not after the code is written.

  13. Waei Cards13

Test for fairness; never assume it.

Never assume your data is neutral; check your algorithms for bias regularly and train them on diverse data.

  14. Waei Cards14

Name the problem before the solution.

Turn the real business question into a problem AI can solve, such as classifying, predicting values, grouping or recommending.

  15. Waei Cards15

    Scale on solid ground.

To scale AI you need central data infrastructure, automated MLOps pipelines and clear governance across the whole organisation.
